betweenduskanddawn: (Oh my...)

Before, if someone had asked Corrin to describe a vampire bite, she probably would have answered with 'messy' and 'painful.' While she'd never really been bitten by anything herself, she'd seen a few soldiers after they had been, and the bites definitely qualified as messy. (And the screaming definitely indicated painful.)

So when Edelgard had said the bite shouldn't hurt, well...she had tried to believe her? She wanted to, at least, but that wasn't the same as actually doing it. So her whole body was a bit tense when El moved in for that initial bite, which probably made the initial puncture more intense than it should have been.

And then the strange rush of pleasure rolled over her, and her arms came up to grab at Edelgard, half to hold her and half to keep her knees from buckling beneath her and sending them both sprawling out onto the mattress. Oh. So that was what El had meant. It...

Well. She shivered, her head dropping forward to rest on the emperor's shoulder, her hands splayed against her back as she felt a shiver rush up her spine, then another. She was silent throughout, until Edelgard actually pulled back, and then she made a noise that was something like a smothered whine. It was unexpected enough it even startled her!

There was another shiver, and the feeling of her wound...closing? Was familiar and yet strange. She'd been healed by magic many times but this was...this was different. Her grip loosened though, and after a few seconds she slumped back some, her rear almost bumping into her heels before she caught herself on Edelgard's waist, looking up at her in a daze.

"That was..." She was disoriented enough she even missed that oh so cheesy compliment, or at least, didn't blush to it like she normally would have.
